Join Scottish Silverworks for our beginner level Melted Pendant class and take your jewellery making skills to hot temperatures! It's a lovely charm to add to a bracelet or necklace. Come and have a laugh and make controlled mistakes with melting metal! Very satisfying. This class is perfect for those willing to be more involved with tools and take on the challenge of working with the flame torch. Chain is not included in the class, there is a selection available to purchase on the day. WHAT DOES THE CLASS INVOLVE? This class is great for someone of a small group of people looking to have a bit of fun together with some easy to do jewellery making techniques including controlled melting, filing metal, shaping intricately with buffers and hammering. Did you know that all the silver provided is 100% recycled Sterling silver, sourced from a UK supplier and manufacturer? Your expert instructor will guide you through the process over around 1.5 hours in a morning, afternoon, or evening, with a small class size of only 4 people. If you wish to book for a larger group booking please enquire directly. The class can run over time a little if needed but please make us aware if you are working to a schedule and need to finish on time. A tea and coffee or cold drink option will be provided. Expand your creative repertoire with jewellery making and create a unique piece of jewellery with your own flair to add to your collection. TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: Attendees must be over the age of 14 years old.  Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult. An ideal class size is 3 or more people, and while the class will run with a booking of two or less, the more the merrier, so invite your friends! Good hand-eye coordination is important as is reasonable hand dexterity.
