Join Scottish Silverworks for our intermediate level Silver Wiggle Necklace class and take your jewellery making skills to the next level. This class is perfect for those willing to be more creative and take on the challenge of working with more complex tools and techniques. WHAT DOES THE CLASS INVOLVE? This class is great for someone looking to get to grips with more challenging techniques including controlled melting, filing metal, shaping intricately with pliers and soldering silver joins. The parts will then be buffed and polished by hand before final assembly. Did you know that all the silver provided is 100% recycled Sterling silver, sourced from a UK supplier and manufacturer? Your expert instructor will guide you through the process over 2 - 2 1/2 hours in a morning, afternoon, or evening, with a small class size of only 4 people. If you wish to book for a larger group booking please enquire directly. The class can run over time a little if needed but please make us aware if you are working to a schedule. A tea and coffee or cold drink option will be provided. Expand your jewellery making repertoire and create a unique piece of jewellery with your own flair to add to your collection. TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: Attendees must be over the age of 14 years old. Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult. An ideal class size is 3 or more people, and while the class will run with a booking of two or less, the more the merrier, so invite your friends! Please check the Booking Policies and Conditions prior to booking for essential safety information. These can be found in the menu. Good hand-eye coordination is important as is reasonable hand dexterity. The space is currently not wheelchair accessible but we are working on this, please be in touch directly if you would like to discuss access. What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are essential. Comfortable clothing is advised and if you need glasses and something to hold your hair back, please bring them! Bringing an apron is optional but can be good to protect clothing.
